Yakiniku Yokocho City at Regent Place absolutely delivers on the wagyu hype. The boneless wagyu short rib and rib fingers blew me away: perfect marbling, melts on the grill, and hits that savory sweet spot every time. The smoked duck breast, lobster salad and seasoned pollock roe sides are very solid as well (rather than feeling like a distraction), addictive bites that keep you coming back between grill sessions. It’s premium-priced, but every plate feels thoughtfully portioned and worth it when the quality’s this consistent. They have Sleek tabletop grills, easy tablet ordering, and staff that stay on point without hovering. Great spot for a relaxed catch-up or small group feast. If you want an indulgent yakiniku experience in the CBD, this is your go-to. Will be back ASAP.

Really good atmosphere and a popular place that you often need to wait to be seated for! In terms of food options, I actually felt like there were limited types of meats but a lot of different veges available. The meat did seem to be relatively high quality but I do feel like it was missing something. Overall, good atmosphere, decent food and pretty good service. The prices are a bit higher than other places but it is probably higher quality??

The meat here is fresh and delicious! The fried daikon chips were yummy too!! Recommend you book in advance to secure a spot. They use iPad to order, the food came quickly and the services were great!

Had an amazing time here. The meats were incredibly tasty. The marination was spot on and full of flavour. Honestly, much better than typical K-BBQ meats. Service was super fast; the food came out almost immediately after ordering. Highly recommend for anyone craving quality Japanese BBQ!

Good self cooked BBQ. Meat quality is good. The cold noodle as recommended on the menu were disappointing, very fatty beef, could see solidified beef fat floating on the soup, not very appealing. 5% discount if paid by cash.

It was like walking into an izakaya in Japan. I loved the vibe of the place! Great selection of meats and seafood. Our favourite was the premium wagyu short rib. Fatty, tender and melt in your mouth goodness! We arrived at 12.30 on a Saturday and it wasn't so busy if you plan to come without a reservation this time would be best. It gets busy around 1pm. We made a reservation as there is 6 of us. The dinner reservation options at the time I booked was only limited to 5.30pm and 8.30. So if you want to do dinner on a Saturday make sure you book in advance. Great place to enjoy with kids too! Looking forward to our next visit.

We came at 6pm on a Friday. Every restaurant in the area was packed. Fortunately our group of six didn’t have to wait. The pork neck and wagyu options we tried were excellent - ribs, rib fingers, tongue. The meat marination was spot on! The drinks were flavorsome. Orders were delivered very quickly due to the tablet-based ordering system. If you like staff interaction and attention, this isn’t the place for you.
